Heidi Brancato, owner and President, saw the opportunity to introduce a current and proven method of teeth whitening in a nontraditional channel. Due to the recent FDA regulations, this teeth whitening method has been deemed a cosmetic procedure, so it is unnecessary to visit a dentist to have it completed. In addition, while working in the Dental field, Heidi discovered that margins between the cost of product to do teeth whitening and what was being charged to consumers was in the 400-500 percent range. The actual costs were much lower; enabling Brighter Smiles to offer the same service for approximately one-third the price.
